Installation Instructions

First things first - Plan your design. Splash Wall Decals are removable but not reusable. Take some masking tape and tape your decals to the wall to get an idea of what you want. Don’t forget! Be creative and experiment! Splash decals can go around corners, bend around pillars or be applied to mirrors or windows.

In order for your SPLASH decal to stick, you need a clean, dry and smooth surface. To ensure your surface is clean and dust free, take a DRY cloth and wipe the area. Do Not use a wet cloth. Do not use on freshly painted walls, allow a minimum of 3 weeks for paint to cure. Go slow during the application especially with decals that are detailed. Large decals may require a friend to help you apply it. Do not allow the decal to stick to itself. If it does, just slowly and gently pull the two areas apart. Before applying your wall art lay your decal on a flat surface and use the included application tool to press down on the transfer paper (see through paper) to ensure the decals are sticking to the transfer paper before applying.

Now go ahead and cut out your individual decals (if your kit contains more then one) or remove excess paper from around the larger decals.

Remove the white backing paper slowly, making sure the decal is sticking properly to the transfer paper.

Place the decal in position along one edge, making sure no part of the rest of the decal touches the wall. Once in position slowly smoooth out the decal from one side to the other, making sure no bubbles or creases form. If they do, slowly reverse direction, tighten the transfer papaer and then continue.

Once the decal has been applied, take the included application tool and starting at the center, press down with the tool at a 45 degree angle rubbing outwards from the center, pressing and fixing the decal against the wall, and eliminating any air pockets.

Once the decal is applied, slowly remove the transfer paper by pressing and rolling back straight down against the wall surface.

Remember GO SLOW, if part of the decal pulls away from the wall just roll the transfer paper back onto the decal and you can press it back down into place with your application tool, then continue. You can remove any air bubbles by squeezing out with the tool or if necessary poking the bubble with a needle.
